Taking the photographs

No two exhibitions are the same. The works in Ghost Biologies were quite diverse and made for an interesting shoot as five artists explored boundaries between science and art.

From decomposing cane toads to the growth of new bio-material forms, the subject matter in this exhibition was certainly not the usual - making it all the more compelling as a shoot.

In approaching an installation to photograph there are always specific considerations such as lens choices. angles and composition. In this instance the works were in a brightly lit small space with lots of reflective surfaces.
