Taking the photographs

This was a genuine pleasure to shoot. The Barn is such a wonderful exhibition venue with well considered lighting placement. Long exposures and selective framing helped reveal each of Svenja’s pieces with a powerful aesthetic. Having a tripod with multiple set positions was essential to negotiate the sloping floor levels of the barn.
